Marc-Cyrille Kamdem

 

Marc-Cyrille was born in Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada), but grew up in Cameroon, Africa. In 1995, during a youth friendly tournament, Marc was discovered by École des Brasseries du Cameroun, which is the most respectable and successful soccer academy in the country. The following year, he signed his first contract with the youth team Olympic de Mvolie (2nd division, Cameroon), and he joined the first team at only 16 years old. At the age of 18, he opted to move back to Canada to continue his studies. He graduated in Actuarial studies at University of Montreal while being part of the soccer team. As a player, Marc is a powerful and versatile left footed who can play either as a center back, left back or defensive midfielder. His imposing physique makes him a very efficient player on set pieces or any aerial challenge.

  • Marc started his coaching career in 2005 with a secondary school in Montreal (Ecole Guy Drummond) and since he moved to Ottawa, he has coached many boys and girls team in the Capital Region.
